Are you working with a trial version of After Effects? You currently have a paid creative cloud subscription? Last question, what changed on your system other than the update?
yes it is a trial version i am using. nothing has changed on my system, no
update to my operating system or anything like that. and i don't have a
paid subscription. i was trying to establish a paid subscription but when i
reach on the web page to do so and i give my info, there is a message which
comes up saying "don't go back to previous page or refresh this page so you
would be charge twice for this transaction. this transaction may take a few
minutes" then the page seem to stick on this and nothing happens, i have
used my credit card to made other purchases online. i want to purchase the
full subscription but your site is not allowing me. please help me. please.
You should call customer service to resolve payment issues. No one here has that authority.
i am gonna do that but still do yu have a solution to get back the mpeg-2
Has the trial for After Effects CC expired?
You are allowed to launch After Effects CC one time after the 30-day trial period has expired, but when you do so a a bug exists in this state: MPEG2 files can not be read or written.
The only solution for this bug is to license After Effects CC; ex. purchase a subscription. My apologies for the problems you're having with the payment system. As Rick says, please contact customer support for help with this.
hey thanks for the info. very useful. i tried contacting customer support to make the purchase but its a run around bcuz am out of ameraica. i got an international number to contact but it seems that number is not working. however someone took my card number and tried to put through the transcation for but it is still pending. i am trying to purchase a creative cloud subscription but i hope doing so really unlocks the mpeg-2 codec and fixes this bug
Please confirm: has your trial expired?
If the trial is not expired, then you may have a different problem, which this forum may be able to help you troubleshoot.
