Hi there I've been working on a form in InDesign that has to be able to be filled in using Adobe Acrobat pdf viewer.
This is because the people who need to fill in the form don't have/understand Adobe InDesign. Nor can I choose another way of working.
So here are some Pictures, however i can't show you everything:
This is what a part of the table looks like, 2 columns and multiple rows, only the right part will be editable.
Proof that it is a table when i select it.
When I go into Adobe acrobat with the interactive pdf. I choose the "Create form" or something button and choose this pdf. Then it will render some textfields, however it will only select some tables and not all! This is the problem.
As you can see, i can fill in the others but not the center table.
The groups of tables are all separate tables in separate text fields, I copied and pasted them and changed the table.
If you have any idea what i did wrong or how to fix it please help me!
Thanks in advance,
What version of InDesign? Beginning with CS6 you can add your text fields
right in InDesign.
Yes thats is how i resolved the issue now, however it wont be on the lines like I designed in Indesign because the software used to open and edit the pdf will choose a font and font size and leading. Eventhough I might be able to edit that I'll never be sure it works. But the issue is solved now!
