The code that Muse creates is quite complex and not very amenable to 'importing into Dreamweaver'. Further, I think it would be fair to say that even with a relatively simple page, retrofitting a fluid grid layout scheme would be tough. FG pages are best created from the beginning as FG pages.
I don't have time to learn how to built websites from the ground up in Dreamweaver
Then hire a freelancer to do this for you.
Short answer: No.
Muse code is not compatible with FluidGrid Layouts. Nor are FluidGrid Layouts compatible with Muse.
If you use MU to design your site, you should be prepared to keep using MU for the life of your site. Or, what Murray said, hire a web developer to help you.
Thank you. I thought as much but would just give it a shot. I'll stick with Muse.
Thanks to you too, Nancy.
Regarding 'use Muse for life': It's not a problem to open a 'Muse site' in Dreamweaver and edit it there (for other purposes than FluidGrid), if I don't wish to open it in Muse later, is it?
You would need to export your MU project to HTML before opening it in DW. Believe me, you won't like what you see. It will be a total mess in DW Design View. And you cannot re-import from DW to MU. So if you're happy using MU, keep things simple & just use MU .
