NObody can know. You have not provided proper system information and other technical details. That said, no, it very likely has nothing to do with Adobe at all. It's more likely that some other tool like a virus scanner is interfering, some driver is not compatible or there are file permissions issues, even more so if e.g. network stuff were involved.
Sorry, thought I posted that this is happening in Win 7. It's strictly happening with Adobe products which use the antiquated Win 95 style file explorers.
No file permission issues. Doubtfully a virus scanner issue. It's a context menu issue solely with Adobe.
I can give you the full specs of my PC and software, but I'm really just looking for someone else who's experience the problem. If no one else then I'll try a reinstall. Would just be nice if Adobe CS5 didn't use the crappy old Win 95 style file explorers...
Thanks for a reply with some viable suggestions. Unfortunately, no luck. Disabled all the context menu items that are not Windows native. It actually let me right-click and open up the properties for a file, but then immediately crashed. Probably a Win 7 update that really doesn't like the old Win 95 style file explorer. I'll just have to adjust my workflow and make sure I don't right click a file in the file explorer for Adobe. I'll join that discussion to see if I can find an resolution there. Thanks
