If the values of the first drop box is present in second dropbox, just use the value of the first drop box to set the value of the second drop box.
this.getField("Second Dropbox').value = this.getField("First Dropbox').value;
What happens if that value is not present in the second dropbox?
this.getField("Dropdown3").value = this.getField("Dropdown2").value
This works for when I'm copying over information from one field to another.. but not for dropboxes.
If the script is for check box, it will only updated when the check box is modified and only if the export value for the checked condition is not the value "On" and the selection has been made before checking the check box.
The "mouse up" action is only triggered when the check box is clicked and the mouse is released. So any changes to the first drop down box after the check box has been set will not change anything.
A value of not equal to "On" is not the same as a value of "Off".
if(this.getField("Check Box1").value != "Off")
event.value = this.getField("DropDown2").value;
