Ah. Answered my own Q. You need to download a Chrome add-on in order to use Edge Inspect:
And then you
"Install the Edge Inspect app on your iOS and/or Android device"

Oh, thanks. It seems we overlooked the obious fact that it must be an app to inspect code in mobile devices, and because it's just a "preview" it doesn't have the little details like a message saying so if you try to run it without an iOS device connected.
So basically this app will do what safari already does, or synchronize the browser like other open source little scripts do? (with .io and sockets, or so. I haven't implemented it yet but sounded cool to scroll one window and see other devices in the local network to respond. It was called sync something, featured in css.tricks.com)
