Completely off topic, but there must be a lot of photographers in this forum. I used a pair of Formatt GND filters while shooting video last night, and although the sun was slightly behind, and well to the side, light got in from the top of the filters and ruined the clip with flare. I suspect that ganging two filters made it more susceptible because, a) there is twice the top edge area for the sun to shine on, and b) there is a small gap between the two filters.
So what I am looking for is one of those black cloth lens hood thingies I've seen demonstrated. They are flexible in one plane, and stiff in the other, so they can wrap round the filter holder without sagging in front of it. I think they might even be weighted on edges to help hold in place. I have so far failed to find the right search parameters to Google one, so any help would be appreciated.
BTW I have black studio back cloth I could cut out a square from, and maybe hold in place with bulldog clips, but I think one of those cloth thingies would be better.
BTW 2, the clips are a dead loss, and I will need to use the shoot-it-again filter to fix them.
TIA
