Problems with Oil Paint (Graphics Processor)

I've recently updated my drivers, and have not been able to accelerate through the ability to put OIL PAINT in effect. I'm not quite sure about the drivers that are required to use the particular filter.

Error Message:

"The filter you were using encountered an unknown graphics processor error that caused an unexpected exit. Check the manufacture's website for the latest software."

Although I have the latest software. Any help would be appreciated!

The Oil Paint filter needs GPU Acceleration, so if it used to work and now doesn't, you need to make sure your video card driver is fully up to date, from the card maker's website. It is vital that you go directly to AMD or nVidea or Intel depending on what your video card is.

If 'Use Graphics Processor' is checked in Preferences > Performance, try using different settings. Click on the Advanced tab, and try Basic for instance. Note this is just a guess.

Otherwise, tell us exactly what operating system and GPU you have?

Just checked, all drivers are completely updated. I tried messing with the processor settings, and no luck. Although I do appreciate your consideration and advice. Is there anything else you recommend regarding my situation?

I just updated Photoshop CC w/2014! Yikes! I am in the middle of a project with a fast encroaching deadline and now you choose to change one of the tools I use "Oil Paint" on the update for CC?
I guess I will not be using Photoshop CC 2014 for awhile.

Also, your Intel video card drivers are about 3 years out of date.
Go to Intel's website and install the latest drivers.

And you could have just updated CS6 or CC.
