same thing is happening to me. I follow the procedure, get no error messages, but when I look, there isn't a new file there with a jpg extension. does anyone have any advice? I restarted indesign and the computer.
I follow the procedure
- What, exactly, are you doing?
- What version of InDesign?
- What Operating System?
Try another way
These scripts make it easy to export a selection, a page, a range of pages, or an entire document to JPG format at a specific pixel dimension.
Thanks for the response. I found the answer in a thread: I had forward slashes in the file name which are verboten. There should be an error message when you try to export an improperly named file. Don't you think?

Yes there should be a message. It's a Windows rule. Some apps swap them for backslashes so trying to save Riff/Raff creates a directory Riff and puts a file Raff in it.
