This looks like a calendar. There's a calendar script on the Exchange...
You can also do it with threaded frames and a numbered list...
The calendar script was excellent, thank you for the info!
But ufortunally it didn't fit my needs.
I haven't thought about threaded frames, it is a good idea.
The picture shows only 1-25, but on the next page i want 26-50, the third page 51-75 and so on.
Is the way to do it to copy a new series of numbers to each page?
I hoped it was a way to do it more automatically, but I guess not.
OK, so that's more like ticket numbering...
I make number lists in Excel because it's really easy to do them there with autofill, then save out as text, each number being a new paragraph. On the master page you can set up your threaded frames and apply a paragraph style that has a Keep Option to Start in Next Frame, then you can go to the first page, hold down the shift key and place the text file into the first frame (don't override the frame first, though), and ID will add pages until all your numbers are used.
Yes, it is start numbers for bikers, printet on fabric.
I try to do what you explain, but I can't get it to work the way I want. How do I get the numbers to continue on page 2? On page 1 it works like a charm
The key is to put the threaded text frames on the master page and to make your number list include all the numbers you'll need. Then it's just like placing any other text file, holding down the shift key to add pages.
I had to video-google it to understand, but now I got it!
I had to hold down Shift + Cmd to select the text box from the master. And I had to make sure I selected automatically flow text when I made a new text box, that was Shiftt
Thanks for the help, it will save me lots of time!
