    Re: play() and stop() sound inside Flash *.swf = Question

    Level 7
      Hello,

      I tried like under mentioned:

      on stopSound()
      sprite(2).stop()
      sprite(2).goToAndStop(260)
      end
      on playSound()
      sprite(2).play()
      sprite(2).goToAndPlay(260)
      end

      But the commands - goToAndStop(260) and goToAndPlay(260) - don`t work.
      It looks like they are not standard Lingo commants, also they don`t show
      green color at the script window, like for example .stop() does.

      Does I make anything wrong?

      Thank you fro any hint,

      Walter

          They are not Lingo commands. They are Actionscript, and thus they won't
          appear in green. They only work on Flash sprites. You can send most
          Actionscript commands to Flash sprites. It may depend on which version
          of Director you are using. I am using MX2004 and it has better Flash
          capabilities than previous versions. But those commands definitely work
          for me when used on a Flash sprite. It will also assume that in the
          Flash movie, there is a frame 260 for it to go to.
