They have a .NET shop, and want to implement WebHelp in their
apps. My question is: Do I need to purchase RoboHelp Server 6 to do
this? Or can this be done via RoboHelp 6 alone? Also, most of my
experience is with client-server scenarios; they have a distributed
environment...if anyone has any idea what this would mean for a
RoboHelp WebHelp project, I'm all ears!
.NET applications can simply
the URL of your appropriate topic within normal WebHelp. In
ours, the app's AAMainUserFrm window, for example, calls the
AAMainUserFrm.htm file in the WebHelp (through the project's start
page to get the frameset & skin).
Since we're creating merged WebHelp, we also provide a .txt
file that maps topics in their respective project folders.
