    Help - Webex conversion

      Hello I am desperatly seeking advice....

       

      I am a graphic designer very familiar with illustrator, photoshop and indesign, but in my new job I've been asked to edit webex recordings. I have premiere and have picked up how to edit, but I'm having issues with the quality.

       

      We conduct our webinars on webex, and therefore download the recordings. My colleague coverts the webex .arf file to mp4, but this looses quality significantly. Firstly does anyone know how to convert.arf on mac as premiere pro doesn't support this format?

       

      From this I then need to edit the sequence with our branded intro and outro sequence and then upload to vimeo. On our account we have 1080p settings, so we wanted to have this online with HD settings for the upmost quality. So is there some settings I should have the sequence as in Premiere, i.e. - how i set the sequence up? And also export settings? I also want the screen to be in a suitable ratio for vimeo. When I import the converted webex recording into premiere it makes the screen square, but I want the screen ratio to be that of vimeo 1080p?

       

      Has anyone got any experience of doing this and retaining the quality?
