Dynamic Link across separately purchased apps would only work in CS6. any version before only provided this feature in the suites. Either way, you have to hurry up. CS6 will only be available for purchase until May 30th and then Creative Cloud takes over completely.

That is not correct. We are still selling CS6 software for quite some time. Where did you see an indication otherwise?
Regarding Dynamic Link: In the current versions of the applications, no suite is required. For example, if you have the single-application subscriptions for both Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC, Dynamic Link works between them. Dynamic Link is still limited to working between applications that share the same major version (i.e., CS6 with CS6, CC with CC, and so on).

There are some promos from third parties that include "this is Your Last Chance to Buy Adobe CS6." It is part of promotion for the teams cloud subscription. I thought they were referring to the end of the group licenses, but I now think it is that no CS6 will be available through them, only Adobe?
I misrembered - it won't be available for volume licensing from that date. Either way, the writing's on the wall for CS6 one way or the other...
Yes, the change regarding perpetually licensed CS6 software is that it is still available (and will remain available) for sale through the Adobe.com store---but not through resellers. This will be true for a long time; people will be able to buy perpetual licenses for CS6 software until we see that there's not much demand for it any more.
Also, CS6 software will be available through a Creative Cloud subscription for a very long time. This is part of the benefit of the subscription: ongoing access to any major version int he library, starting with CS6.
