Dear Adobe,
I have spent the best part of 8 hours trying to get the Creative Cloud Desktop App to work properly on two different OS X machines.
On one machine the process is running (activity monitor) with no visible signs of the app. no windows or icons in the menu bar.
On the other I get the download error contact customer support message.
I have had customer support control my machine and fail to rectify the issue (case number 185496471). I have tried all the fixes I can find such as deleting OOBs, enabling root and whatever.
Please fix this now Adobe …. I have wasted enough time trying to fix this and I am too busy trying to produce graphics etc to do any more beta testing for you.

After two massive crashes while using After Effects that required complete restarts my Creative Cloud Desktop app mysteriously started function correctly again. No idea why but at least I can now stop chasing my tail.
