What is different between the files that work, and the ones that crash?
The properties of the source media are always important "must have" information in troubleshooting. So we look forward to seeing that information. Are these files coming from the same brand/model/settings of one camera?
In addition, just how many of these .mp4 files are on the Timeline when the freeze sets in?
Am I interpreting what you wrote correctly, that is, you have "50" 45 min clips that you want to add to the project.
I must be reading that incorrectly since that would be total 2250 minutes or some 37 hours?
Besides the details of the files wanted in the project, please include in your reply details of your computer resources and what your intended export is for this Timeline.
Hi John - thanks for your response. I'm very new to this program and to computers in general. The files are movies/tv shows that I am trying to make a compilation of best clips for a birthday present. I will read the documents you send and attempt to ask a more thoughtful question.
Thanks for your help so far!
