          Hi Edward,

          you need to place the css within a rule in a css section. You can apply a rule via class, id or html tag. Via class it looks like this:

          <!doctype html>

          <html>

          <head>

          <meta charset="UTF-8">

          <title>Untitled Document</title>

          <!-- This is the css block -->

          <style type="text/css">

          <!-- This is your rule with css selector -->

          .menu {

          font-family: Impact;

          color: #ff4a36;

          font-size: 72px;

          font-weight: 400;

          line-height: 0.875;

          width: 548px;

          height: 255px;

          }

          </style>

          </head>

          <body>

          <!-- This is where the class is applied -->

          <ul class="menu"><li>Here is the menu</li></ul>

          </body>

          </html>

          I hope this helps. A good resource for learning CSS and applying it to HTML is here: Beginner’s guide to CSS – Friendly Bit
