new mac arrived today
installed parallels
installed windows 7 pro
paid for lightroom and photoshop on a monthly basis
tried to install creative cloud
failed and failed and failed and failed......
error 1001.
spoke to adobe support in timbuktu, absolutely useless.
anyone got any pointers on this?
if not, going for a refund.

My understanding is that CC, unlike previous versions (CS6 and before) is not platform specific. So (silly question) why try to run CC in Parallels/Windows instead of natively on the Mac OS?

I have been running CC on my Mac, installed Paralles for a different software (paid $400 for this software). Had both of them up and running past 2 days, now I can open all my apps BUT photoshop. Support is telling me that the minimum requirement for the software is not being met having Parallels installed on my machine??? I said that doesn't make any sense cause I have already used both software programs together.
He said he can not even look into it until I delete Parallel from my machine! !

I don't think I understand. So let's start with the basics. Do you want to run the Mac Photoshop or the Windiws Photoshop? if it's the Windows version you want to run, why, specifically, because performance will be crippled without GPU?
