1. Re: Once you use the gradient tool on an object, how can you reset it back?
P Spier May 27, 2014 11:55 AM (in response to iBabs2)You didn't I suppose, save the gradient as a swatch? if not, and you've made changes to the stops (as opposed to leaving the gradient panel alone and just dragging the gradient tool in the document) I think you're out of luck.

iBabs2 May 27, 2014 12:25 PM (in response to P Spier)Hi Peter and Larry,
I actually do have it saved as a swatch, but if I try to drag it back over the object, it still keeps whatever I did while using the gradient tool.
It's like I need to reset the box property or something?
I ever tried to take most of the settings off of the eye dropper and then created a dummy object with the gradient pulled from the swatch panel intact in an effort to pick it up and put in my other object that is now distorted, and still no luck?
In Illustrator I do believe you can reset the gradient back to normal as this has come up in the past, but I do not see this option in InDesign.
And to Larry, of course there is no back up LOL
thanks
