I recently installed a Radeon R7 240 graphics card and am still having problems with CC. Everytime i start it I received the "3d features require a minimum of 512MB of vRAM. Photoshop has detected less than that on your system."
I have 2GB of VRAM. Is there any way to force Photoshop to recognize the new graphics card?
Check Help->System Info to see what your video cards and drivers are reporting to applications.
Most likely you just need to update the drivers from your GPU maker's website.
I tried updating drivers from GPU. That didn't fix anything. Would it help if I posted System Info? Photoshop is the only program I have that doesn't detect the video card.
Resolved this for anyone interested.
iDisplay drivers were still on the system and that caused Adobe to skip my 3d adapter
