Jeff A Wright...I don't see how the link you provided helps with a Error 202 in anyway since there is nothing covering error 202 in it.
You are correct Katieknight3d. Error 202 indicates the downloaded asset could not be download or extracted. If you have tried the suggestions to help ensure a stable Internet connection offered in message #1 then please look at the file permissions for your temp folder under your current User account. It is likely these file permissions have become compromised preventing the download from being extracted successfully.
How do you find the file permissions for your temp folder? What does it mean the file permissions have become compromised?
I am running into the same issue on my iMac.
leapstorm did you figure it out?

AgSide the Temp folder is located in /private/tmp. The best way to access the folder is the following:
- Go to the Finder.
- Use the Go Menu and select Go to folder.
- Type in /tmp to view the contents of the folder.

Actually, 202 is Network error code. However, you should try to install "Adobe Application Manager". This actually works for me.
Having lay people whack around in their /tmp folder and then ending your answer there, seems like a huge cop out to me. Is that all you can give them, being an actual employee of the company? Is there a fix on the way? Maybe you could incorporate a script in the installer that checks on a few attributes of the /tmp folder and corrects them, so that these people don't tear their hair out futzing around in places they should never have to see.
Just had the same error code 202.
Cancelled the download/update.
Hit update button and it worked.
