There is no difference in terms of usage and features between a trial version and a licensed version.
Could you tell me do you get any specific error message when it crashes, or does it crash while using a particular feature, or is it random?
Can you also try with a different user account (admin) on your MAC, check if it behaves same there?

Hi Varun - When the program crashes, it crashes to the desktop; no error messages or opportunities to save - just closes. So far, I've noticed it when I click on a master slide to edit the title and when I click on a slide to add a drag and drop interaction.
I'm afraid I don't know what you mean about trying with a different user account (admin) on my Mac. If you'll explain, I'll give it a try.
