We got SSL certification for the RobHelp/documentation server. I’m having trouble getting RoboHelp to generate output at an https address.
Per Adobe's instructions, I edited the server and changed the Server Name field to https://documentation....
After generating and publishing, if I do File-->View-->Primary Layout from Server, the help opens with an http address. If I change http to https it goes off into neverland. Non-robohelp files on the same server can be accessed with either http or https addresses.
Thanks in advance for any help

Is your server a regular server, or are you using the product RoboHelp Server? I thought there was a topic on this some time ago, but I can't remember what it was about or how/if they solved it.
- If you say 'goes into neverland', what behaviour do you see?
- If you open the developer console in the browser (press F12), do you get any errors in the Console tab?
Kind regards,
Willam

Thanks for your response.
Regarding the server, it is the RoboHelp product server.
I searched for a topic on this issue and wasn't able to find one.
Regarding "going to neverland" (when I change http to https on the URL), the browser tries to load indefinitely. In IE there is a message on the browser that flashes but is too fast to read. In Firefox, a message flashes saying "waiting for [address]"
In IE, if I do F12, the console tab has repeated messages "SEC7111: HTTPS Security is compromised by [address]"

The server is probably blocking an AJAX call. This sounds like a bug to me: the help system probably tries to retreive other files using an unencrypted connection.
The only you can do now is to make the help available via HTTP and file a bug report with Adobe: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
Kind regards,
Willam
