How do I create a progressive animated path in Edge Animate?

I would like to create a progressive animated path in Edge Animate, like a stage in the Tour de France. A growing path from one place to another. How to do this?

Well, 44 viewers on this question and no-one seems to know how to fix this? May i Assume this isn't possible in Edge Animate? That would be a dissapointment, because it's often used in interactive graphics.

I've seen solutions to this problem like pieces of the path as a png en then making it a Clip in Edge and then scaling the width or the hight. I was very surprised: is that the way to do things like this? It looks so amateuristic this way.

There must be a clever way to fix this, but what way?

I assume a path can be drawn in Adobe Illustrator, then when saving the path as a SVG you have the 'coordinates'. Is there a way to use these 'coordinates' in Edge Animate to make this path progessivly grow?

          Can anyone help me please?
