Terry, can you explain more about you "do not see it"? Did you encounter an error message? Do you have a subscription to Adobe Send?
I do have a subscription to Adobe Send Now. I just sent another file using Adobe Send. I've tried uploading to Adobe.com. I can upload a small MP3 file using Adobe Send (I understand the subscription to Send Now works with Send). The file completely uploads but instead of going into the Virus Check like it does with Send Now, I receive an upload error with Adobe Send and when I upload the file directly to the cloud, it just finishes the upload but never posts it to the list of files.
Hi, Terry. Thanks for posting about the problems you are encountering with Adobe Send. I, too, am an annual subscriber and I'm having the very same issues and experiencing the same frustrations. What you have described in uploading to the Adobe Cloud, the error messages, etc., is exactly what I am encountering.
Adobe Send Team... Is it a problem with file size? I've sent small files using Adobe Send and have had no problems. But, when trying to send a large file to an individual or upload it to the Adobe Cloud, I encounter nothing but error messages after long, long, long, upload times. Please... Please help us.
I am hoping Adobe can sort this our for us. Of all the file transfer programs I like Send Now the best. Since I am sending time sensitive radio shows to the station for airing the stations can trust my uploads because of the Virus Checking at the end.
I only mention this because I wanted to see if it was something I was doing incorrectly that caused this problem. I also have access to MediaFire. It's like Send Now but not as user friendly on the other end. The files that failed with Send worked with MediaFire so I'm confident Adobe will figure this out.
Thanks for letting us know about your experience with Adobe Send. JKMenasco, I just replied to another thread of yours, so you can reply to these questions either here or there. If you wouldn't mind letting us know a few other details, we'll do our best to help you both figure out what's going on:
- How big are the files you're sending?
- What operating system and browser are you using to access Adobe Send?
- About how long is it taking for these files to upload before you get the error message?
We'll start with your answers to those questions and take it from there. Thank you for your patience! Terry, if it's a time-sensitive issue for you, you can still use SendNow to send the files while we get to the bottom of the issue at hand.
I have been trying to send 2 pdf files (separately), one is 205,835 KB and the other is 141, 586 KB.
I have tried both Windows 8.1 and the Apple operating system on a Mac Book pro.
For the Windows 8.1, I have tried both Firefox and Chrome. For the Apple system I tried Chrome.
For the largest file, the time I timed it, it took 18 minutes to upload. For the smaller file it took 13 minutes.
I have also tried uploading the largest file to Acrobat.com files. I did not get an error message but the file is not listed as being present. In this screen, when I am uploading, the screen is not grayed out like it is when I tried to upload a file to send.
After repeated attempts no files are listed under "Sent Files", "Recent Files", or Adobe.com Files and I have refressed the screen several times.
I have successfully sent smaller files but I also need to send large files from time to time.
I had the same problem trying to send an audio file (wav, 719 MB) and got an error message when the uploading was almost complete (after a couple of hours). I tried three times, once using Firefox (which crashed) and twice using Google Chrome.
Adobe Send and Adobe SendNow will coexist until later this year. You are welcome to continue using Adobe SendNow until that service is retired later this year.
Please let us know how it goes.
I would like to cancel my renewed subscription to Adobe Systems Inc. on June 22 for US$22.39, and found the services did not meet my needs, because I can't convert files to PDF.
Can you please tell me how to do this?
Hi Rebecca, Im having a similar problem except its just a smallish pdf I can't upload and its extremely frustrating - I feel close to cancelling my current subscription
Sorry I mean't Sara (not Rebecca)
Adobe engineering has been working on improving the upload experience to Adobe Send. In the meantime, you're welcome to continue using Adobe SendNow, as the two services will coexist until later this year.
How do I find send now? I've never used it as I am a new customer.
