ankita_ag Sep 16, 2014 8:47 AM (in response to ugotbroiled)Hi,
I would suggest you not to follow the .astx workflow as we have a much better method to attach scenes.
Also, if you have not, go through this video link , which very well explains the workflow.
Give it a try and let us know if this could not help you with the problem.
Tip :Make sure that drag and drop of 'scene' is performed, not of 'script'.
Thanks,
Ankita

ugotbroiled Sep 16, 2014 10:47 AM (in response to ankita_ag)Hi Ankita, I did indeed follow the workflow described in the video, doing the drag and drop of the scene onto the clip. Nothing appears in the Embed Adobe Story Metadata field. If i try again to drop the scene onto the same clip, I get a message stating that "One or more selected clips contains Story Script Metadata, do you want to overwrite it?" I click yes and still nothing appears in the Embed Adobe Story Script metadata field for the clip.
Thanks,
Ben

Sethco Sep 17, 2014 10:47 AM (in response to facedoc)My usual workflow involves embedding Adobe Story Scripts using Prelude, and I have not had any issues. However, on my current production after ingesting clips from Prelude and working with the clip in Premiere, I ran into the same issues as the OP and could not get my script to embed using Premiere.
My workaround was closing the Premiere project, returning to Prelude, embedding the script, and analyzing the content. After Media Encoder was done cooking and the project was re-opened in Premiere...the script was embedded in the clip's Metadata. (I did not have to re-send the clip to Premiere) This may not work if you did not originally ingest the media in Prelude and send it to Premiere, but it might be worth a try.
