I am a registered owner of Photoshop CS6—the full free-standing version. I was recently traveling in Europe and was restricted to a satellite internet connection. Although fully installed on my computer, I was unable to open Photoshop. The reason given was that I “needed an internet connection.” Because of this, I was unable to use Photoshop during my trip.
I don’t understand why a program that is fully-loaded and licensed on my machine would need to get an “OK” from Adobe to open when I need it. I understand if I had the cloud version, but I don’t.
How do I avoid this problem in the future?
