According to the Adobe Supported Camera List - a D610 needs ACR 8.3:
According to the Adobe Apps list, ACR 8.3 only works with PSE12:
So either upgrade your PSE to 12, or use the DNG Converter 8.3 or 8.4, to convert the NEFs to DNGs that PSE11 can read. The DNG Converter can be found, here:
I honestly think that Adobe has us by the short hairs. They are making it harder and harder to get Camera RAW alone. It is as if Adobe wants us to use The Cloud...and I don't want to!!! LOL I got Elements 11 when I purchased my Nikon D610 and was told I could get a supporting Camera RAW with it. The whole reason we want Camera RAW is to edit our photos FIRST before switching them to jpegs (through DNG) and then putting them into Elements to edit. Now I am finding out I can't and I have to get Adobe Elements 12 to have Camera Raw? What's with that??
Ask the camera manufacturers to include saving to DNG in camera and the entire Raw problem disappears.
