JSS1138 Jun 9, 2014 9:22 AM (in response to JZuck)Are you asking about Closed Captions, or burned in subtitles? They're two different things.

JZuck Jun 9, 2014 9:27 AM (in response to JSS1138)Good question and perhaps I'm approaching this wrong. I meant if I imported a closed caption file can I render it out as a "burned in" subtitle?

3. Re: How do I overlay captions in Premiere CC?
JSS1138 Jun 9, 2014 9:30 AM (in response to JZuck)I don't believe you can. Like I said, they're two different things, and I'm not aware of any way to convert one to the other.
If you want burned in, you will have to create individual titles by hand and place them manually in the sequence. There's no shortcuts on this one.
