I'm working on Sepia Toning some images. I have several base starting settings that I need to choose from then modify. One of the tools I'm using is a Gradient Map layer and I use Photoshop CS6 Extended.
After saving them, my gradient settings in PS CS6 64 bit go missing when I work on a new image. What's up? Some old settings do appear and a series repeat over and over. I do have CS6 Photoshop Extended 64 and 32 bit installed, but use 64bit 95%. I do see a couple old saved settings. I also have Creative Suite 5.5 (InDesign and Illustrator, no Photoshop 5.5) installed.
Thanks for any help!
The presets should be saved in your user directory, but sometimes when you save a preset, it gets saved in the last place you saved a file. I'd do a search for .gnd files on your system and see where they all are. In Windows, your preset gradients should be in:
C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Presets\Gradients
