You might want to try
var TextHeight = sym.$('text').heigh();
Then you can retreive the variable value on your event.

It would be easier to put a mark at the end of your text.
For instance: a span tag.
1) sym.$( "TextIntroduction" ).html( "yourText" ).append( "<span></span>" );
2) where is span?
sym.$( "TextIntroduction" ).find( "span" ).offset().top; will return textfield height.
