It seems that the first time I fire up Photoshop each day, it'll get through the splash screen just fine, but then when the actual interface pops up, it's completely unresponsive for about 2-3 minutes. None of the menus (file, edit, etc.) highlight when I roll over them. Nothing. Then after a few minutes, it'll just start working again. Not the end of the world, of course, but extremely annoying nonetheless.
Obviously this isn't much information for you guys go to on, so I've attached the document that dxdiag spits out. Is there any other information I should provide? I've updated to the latest CC version of photoshop.
Do you have any plug-ins or extensions installed that might be loading during startup?
Nothing much. Just the xNormal plugin... and possibly the nvidia plugin that I moved over in a vain attempt to get it to work in CC. I'll try removing them next time before starting it.
Alright, it looks like by removing the xNormal plugin, my photoshop's stall time went from >2-3 minutes to 2-3 seconds!
