    Playback Quality Settings

    72dolphins Level 1
      Hello-
      I am working in Flash CS3 and can not seem to get the "Quality" global actionscript setting to work. On the first frame, I have the following code:

      import flash.display.StageQuality;
      StageQuality.LOW;

      I am not sure why, but the movie will not play back in Low quality mode when I open up the published projector. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

          StageQuality.LOW is just the kind of stage quality, its not setting the
          stage quality. To set it you have to assign that value to quality property
          of the stage instance (when you do this, make sure you have access to stage,
          though - you will if writing the code in the main timeline).

          stage.quality = StageQuality.LOW;
