What operating system are you using?
Generally the folder containing the Flood plugin goes in the photoshop cs6 plugins folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins
Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Plug-ins
I downloaded the flood plug in and put its folder in the plug ins folder on my mac (so its above my portraiture plug in but it won't open
Is this definitely the latest version of Flood? And is it the right version for a Mac?
I have an early version of Flood. It still works with CS6 and CC, but only with the 32 bit versions. Unfortunately, I am using Windows, but all I do to install is copy the .8bf file to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC\Plug-ins
I have no idea what the OSX folder hierarchy would be. I obviously have to run this from Photoshop 32 Bit.
If your version of Flood is a recent download, then it might run in 64bit, and have its own installer. You'd surely find all that info on the Flaming Pear site.
I downloaded it today so I am assuming it would be the latest version. I wish it had its own installer thats how I did my portraiture and it works just fine. I have looked at the link you provided above and that is not what happens there is no window that opens up and I have deleted and re-downloaded 6 times now.
What version of mac os x are you using?
