How can I align a layer to match the layer below it?
I want to composite two photos with different exposures. The base photo is an interior tavern scene exposed for the general area and people. The second photo is exposed for the televisions people were watching. I have placed the television layer into a layer over the main layer, and by reducing the opacity in the top layer, I can tell the televisions do not line up. (I was hand holding the camera and it moved.) So how do I move the top layer?
There are three televisions in the scene. If moving the image does not line them all up simultaneously, how can I isolate them and move them separately? Maybe repeat the layer process and do one television at a time? Is there a better way?
How much was the camera moved was the lens focal length the same for each exposure and how close are objects to the camera. Why not post the images....
Align the images as best you can and be creative masking them together.
