Edits in LR Mobile not saving to camera roll

    catduyck Community Member

I have made edits on several photograps in LR mobile to then share/save them to my camera roll. But they save without the edits. Is this correct? is it supposed to work that way? How can I save edited photographs to my camera roll?

When you are in develop mode and make edits and you want to share instantly those edits then you need to trigger the "Sync Now" at the top right Cloud indicator before you share.

With the next update we will fix this issue.

Thanks Guido, how exactly do I trigger the Sync now? I thought that the sync now automatically started the minute you change something... and I do see the ants marching... Does it mean that I have to wait till the ants are done marching? And are we talking ipad here? Trigger the syncing on ipad?

Sorry to be such a nuissance... I really like LR mobile and want to get the most out of it... I love it to be able to sit in the living room instead of behind computer in the office in the evening and do some updating...

We actually sync photo development edits when you swipe to the next photo or when you go back to the grid.

But when you have a photo open in develop with edits you need to trigger the Sync Now as shown in the attached screenshot.

Yes, I see... But I hardly ever see that little black window with the Sync now possibility, I see the little dots moving on the place of the cloud, which means it IS syncing. I wonder if I have too much going on so it never really finishes syncing. I do shoot on a daily base so whenever I have photographs in my desktop LR I sync them through to my ipad. And I am constantly working on photographs. But it's a good tip to swipe. O hec, and maybe it only saves in develop mode... Now there's a thought. I will try that one out.

Thanks for all your input! I truly love Mobile, makes my life a lot easier. At least when it does what I want it to do. Grin. Thanks again!
