Issue with Migration to New Mac from Old Mac

    alistafford

I deactivated photoshop CS3 on my old mac, and I'm trying to get it over to my new mac via firewire but I'm getting this error message:  Licensing for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and the reinstalling this product or contacting your IT administrator or Adobe customer support for help. What can I do?

          1. Any Adobe Product must—beside deactivation and uninstalling from your old computer—be installed with the original Adobe installer and the appropriate serial number.
          2. Never use the program migration tools of Mac OS to migrate any Adobe software, it will not work.
          3. I suspect that CS3 is compatible with your computer, you will have to update to a current version of your program.
