    CMYK from fireworks doc

    Level 7
So the Fireworks help says that before sending a fireworks document to a
printer that requires CMYK, that we should be able to import our work into
Freehand... which I did, and sent that to the printer, but the printer
still insists that they're RGB in design. Can anyone help shed more light on
      this???

          _adrian,

How did you get the file out of Freehand? Export? Save As?

There is a 'Setup' button on the dialog box that opens when you save or
export. If you open 'Setup' there is an option to convert colors to
CMYK, RGB or CMYK and RGB.

If you have Photoshop, it'll tell you the color mode right in the top bar to the right of the document name. I haven't used Freehand in years though, so I'm not sure how to tell there.
