I am currently working on a book. I was making some changes to paragraph styles and what not when I realized a preflight error- overset text. I had expected this, as a result of different font sizes etc. However, when I attempt to autoflow the text from the page where the overset text begins (by clicking the red + sign and then shift+click to a new page) there is no text. three new pages appear with text frames, no text, and another overset text preflight error at the end of those pages. I tried adding 100 pages (just to be safe) and attempt to autoflow the text after every overset text was detected by preflight. however, I had no luck after "autoflowing" the text 7 times. I am not sure what the deal is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Most likely there is something in the first line of overset text that is preventing the line from wrapping, either a keep option, indents that are larger than the column width, a long string to which No Break is applied, or a bunch of non-breaking spaces in a string where hyphenation has been disabled. The easiest way to diagnose this is to view the text in Story Editor where you can see and select the overset.
Thank you, Peter. This worked great.
