some time before I had this "fussiness" too. After this deinstall and install procedure with the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool all works like a charm.
You should try it too, especially because - I quote - The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
Hello Maxelcat, could you please try that, and let me know how it goes?:
Go to C:/User/UserName/AppData/Local/Adobe/OOBE and change name of that folder to OOBE_old
Try to find a file called OPM and delete that, and check if you have AAmupdater and change name to AAmupdater_old
Next, go to Creative Cloud APP - Click on a gear icon and find a option to close the application.
Next, switch Creative Cloud APP again.
I am having a similar issue perhaps. On start up of my computer (Mac) I receive a request to provide administration rights and password in order to complete installation of Adobe Creative Cloud software. This only began occurring last week after I updated two components. Is there a fix for this issue on a Mac?
Hi Ed Foster,
What does happen when you give such a rights? Does the software installs?
It does not appear as though anything happens. The software installs properly on updating, but this request pops up every morning when I start my computer.
Thanks for your help,
