1. Re: Terms of the new $9.99 Creative Cloud Photography Program
bitm07 Jun 20, 2014 5:20 AM (in response to bitm07)What i'm seeking is a FAQ page like the general Creative Cloud one featured in the link below, that's specific to the $9.99 Creative Cloud Photography Program.
http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/faq.html
As things stand I can't even locate a page that states everything that's included in the $9.99 package on the Adobe website, the page link below mentions Photoshop CC and Lightroom, but there's no mention of cloud storage that I believe is included in the $9.99 deal.

We need more detailed product specific detail than this to make an informed decision, but where do I locate it ?.

John Waller Jul 4, 2014 11:42 AM (in response to Beverley Gray)So, in short, the new Creative Cloud Photography Program = old Photoshop Photography Program with less included extras for the same price.
Primarily, the included Cloud storage is now only a mere 2GB instead of the previous 20GB.

Noel Carboni Jul 4, 2014 11:42 AM (in response to John Waller)Would you prefer the same features for an inflated price? I'm just prodding, but have you EVER seen anything in this world not go up in price or down in value?
From a businessman's perspective, if it sells well and is popular the value is too great or the price is too low.

John Waller Jul 4, 2014 11:55 AM (in response to Noel Carboni)Understood Noel. That's how capitalism works. However the full Cloud has definitely gone up in terms of inclusions since its first release.
The tinkering with this specific PPP/CCPP offering seems ongoing.
I just thought they'd be continually improving it. Silly me. The changes do seem to be a little myopic. Sometimes it does pay to be an early adopter.

Noel Carboni Jul 4, 2014 11:57 AM (in response to John Waller)Well, to be fair Photoshop itself (and I assume Lightroom) are getting new development, so (assuming you don't have new problems with Photoshop CC 2014) you could make the argument that today's $9.99 gets you a bit more than last year's $9.99. People with 200 ppi displays on Windows might think it's great. But realistically it's hard to point a lot of fingers at big "gee whiz" new technology in there. Just some refinements (and yes, some deprecations).
At least it's still $9.99, not double or more as a lot of the nay sayers predicted a year ago.
