I am making a Table of Contents in InDesign CC and I have included and input style and mapped it to a separate "Entry Style." The Entry Style is a Paragraph style whose Font Style is set to Regular (as I want). However, as the input paragraph style is "Bold" (as I want) the Heading show up as bold (Which I don't want) in the outputted table of contents. Why is this happening and can I fix it so that it doesn't become bold (contrary to the entry paragraph style) everytime I update?
Check to see if a Character style is applying the Bold.
Perfect!!! Yes the original text that the Table of Contents referred to had both a character style and a paragraph style so I removed the character style and it worked! Thank you!!!
