1. Re: Photoshop CC 2014 has lost all my custom settings, all my batch actions, all my custom desktops. Can't I import them from previous PSCC, or do I have to create everything over again?
Trevor.Dennis Jun 19, 2014 2:53 PM (in response to Carl Weese)Look at Preferences > Sync settings

Carl Weese Jun 19, 2014 2:59 PM (in response to Carl Weese)OK, it seems I can save sets of actions from PSCC, and then load them into PSCC/2014. Is there a better answer?

Carl Weese Jun 19, 2014 3:15 PM (in response to Trevor.Dennis)Can't seem to get the Sync settings to transfer between the programs, though the save and load individual sets approach is working.

Johnkjlkjlkjlkl Jun 23, 2014 3:52 AM (in response to Carl Weese)I'm wondering why do we have a new photoshop instance to import settings to? Wasn't the point of CC to have only one instance ans just make updates? Now I'm faced to an issue where settings won't sync all over again and this is quite annoying.
"12:47 PM: Download started.
12:47 PM: Download started.
12:47 PM: Download stopped.
12:46 PM: Download started.
12:41 PM: Download started.
12:40 PM: Download started."
Get an error every single time.
I have custom keyboard shortcuts, custom workspaces and more.. please let me know what is the best solution to transfer everything the CC 2014 please.

Noel Carboni Jun 23, 2014 4:15 AM (in response to Johnkjlkjlkjlkl)When I installed Photoshop CC (2014) it migrated all my actions. I don't know why it wouldn't have done that for you.
All your loaded actions are stored in a single file in the preferences area. It might just be a matter of copying the entire file from one preferences area to the other.
Before experimenting, back up your files!
See this document to know where the files are. The Photoshop CC 14.x and Photoshop CC 2014 preferences files are next door to one another on the disk. Look specifically for Actions palette.psp.

Johnkjlkjlkjlkl Jul 1, 2014 1:57 PM (in response to Noel Carboni)Yep, actually worked.
In cas someone reads this and encounter the same issue. You have to copy the preference in "user/library/preferences/.." of the [Adobe_____] CC to the [Adobe _____] CC 2014 application. this works for shortcuts, work spaces etc...
Good luck!

The terms you used, "user library" and "c drive" are from Mac and PC architectures respectively. Read the information at the link I posted more carefully - there are different sections for Mac and PC.
Keep in mind the AppData folder is usually hidden by Microsoft,
Also know that Adobe hasn't updated that page to include specific locations for CC 2014, so you have to look around just a bit when you get to the deepest folder.
As an example, here's where my preferences are on Windows 8.1:
C:\Users\NoelC\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014

Isn't that exactly what Noel told you in #8? Read that post again:
