1. Re: CC2014 - MTS files not ingesting
Ada_Wang Jun 19, 2014 8:27 PM (in response to MonkeyEatsMonkey)Hi -
Thank you for your post.
I'd like to get more details about your issue.
1. Are they single file "MTS" files or folder based "MTS" files (e.g. AVCHD medias) ?
2. What operation system are you working on?
Thanks and best regards,
Ada

MonkeyEatsMonkey Jun 19, 2014 9:06 PM (in response to Ada_Wang)Thanks for the quick reply!
These are single MTS files outside of the AVCHD folder structure and I'm running CC2014 on a Windows 7 machine.

Ada_Wang Jun 19, 2014 11:23 PM (in response to MonkeyEatsMonkey)Thanks for the information.
I just tried to import a single .MTS file with Prelude CC2014 on a Win7 machine, I am able to import it.
So, could you please describe the detailed steps when you encountered the issue? And a screen capture would be very helpful.
B.R.
Ada

MonkeyEatsMonkey Jun 20, 2014 9:45 AM (in response to Ada_Wang)I just tried re-creating the issue so I could take some screen captures, and the MTS files are importing correctly now! I haven't changed a thing on my system, so it's a bit unexpected that this isn't an issue anymore.
Thanks for looking into the issue. I'll be sure to take screen captures if it happens again.

5. Re: CC2014 - MTS files not ingesting
das modular Jul 31, 2014 2:22 PM (in response to MonkeyEatsMonkey)I have the same problem with Premiere Pro CC (2014) and Media Encoder CC (2014) ! "Compression of media is not supported" (or something like that, it's in german...)
In After Effects CC (2014) and Prelude CC (2014) there is no problem importing these files.
MTS from a Panasonic HC-V550, files from a AVCHD folder structure, 1080p 50 fps.
I did already a project with theses file in Premiere Pro CC a few month ago!

nilscut Oct 20, 2014 3:50 AM (in response to das modular)I had the same problem. But after updating After Effects also to version 2014.1.1 the problem disappeared.
Hope that helps !
