So I downloaded the 2014 Version of Indesign yesterday, and uninstalled the old version.
Now all my Indesign files are just a white page, my computer doesn't know what program to use, but
I can go into Indesign and open them that way, so it does work, but it's a little annoying, because even after
I open the file and re-save it, it still doesn't remember. I also tried right clicking on the file, open with..>browse>program files>Adobe>Indesign then open,
but it takes me back to the open with screen. Whenever I installed it yesterday there was an error installing, it told me to go to me temp. files and ect.
When I finally got there it said it couldn't install or open the program, because my computer required a re-boot so I did that, and then it claim it was installed correctly.
I'm guessing I'll just have to uninstall and re-install it again? Any thoughts or help is appreciated.
Your guess is likely the easiest way to fix this.
This has happened to me also. I have not been able to find a solution myself. I will try to reinstall also.
