Immediately before registering for (I switched from the demo version to the paid version of photoshop) I was looking at some .CR2 raw files from my Canon EOS 30D. It was at this point that the notice came up, saying that my free license had expired. I paid for the subscription, restarted Photoshop, and now the same .CR2s are coming up almost completely black (RGB values from 0-2 only. Cranking up the brightness and contrast doesn't give anything suggesting the original images, shooting down my initial thought that the values were just the correct values/100. Any thoughts on what has happened?
Try deleting the Sidecar files for the problem images. (If they have been processed in ACR before)
None of them were processed - just a quick view was all. No sidecar files exist. =[
