I just upgraded to Photoshop CC 2014 on my Wondows 7 PC. How do i make Photoshop CC 2014 launch instead of Photoshop CC when I click on a JPEG file.

This seems to be a very common problem on my laptop and desktop computer when I update to a new version of Photoshop. Every time I click on a JPEG file, the registry always chooses the oldest version of Photoshop to launch. I just upgraded to Photoshop CC 2014 on my Windows 7 PC. How do I make Photoshop CC 2014 launch instead of Photoshop CC when I click on a JPEG file?

I generally try to keep away from making edits in the registry without very specific instructions (I have been in registry hell a few times, and don't wish to return).

Does Adobe have a small app that will update the registry to the latest versions of Adobe products such as Photoshop and Indesign?
