1. Re: Group folders, in the layers palette question
R_Kelly Jun 22, 2014 3:18 AM (in response to 0416alexjames)Holding down Crtl+Alt (Command+Option on a mac) while clicking the Arrow beside the folder icon in the layers panel toggles open/closing the layer groups.
You have to use the arrow on one of the main groups and not on any of the nested groups in order for all groups to open/close

2. Re: Group folders, in the layers palette question
Trevor.Dennis Jun 22, 2014 3:34 AM (in response to R_Kelly)That's a handy shortcut RK, and one IO didn't know. I just tried it and Ctrl twirls open single groups leaving nested groups closed. Ctrl Alt twirls open main and nested groups. Thanks

3. Re: Group folders, in the layers palette question
0416alexjames Jun 22, 2014 7:47 AM (in response to Trevor.Dennis)Thanks guys for the replies. That opens the layer group (or closes) that i toggle, but if i open it again, all the groups nested in it are open, if i have not closed each and everyone. So, is there no way to auto close all open layer groups i'm assuming?

4. Re: Group folders, in the layers palette question
R_Kelly Jun 22, 2014 10:07 AM (in response to 0416alexjames)I believe that has to do with the state the layer sets were in before the document was last saved.
