    Customizing FB Share in Edge Animate

    OdeePoot

      I'm trying to customize FaceBook Share window to display a more relevant intro. Right now if you share a url to FB it automatically grab content from that page. I want to be able to customize what to display like the image, title, short description.

      I have an Edge Animate OAM running on my Muse site.

      In the Animate file I have the on click button trigger with the ff code: window.open("https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https://www.facebook.com/fbPage&s[images][0]= http://www.myURL.com/images/photo.png", "_blank", "width=400, height=550");

      I'm only doing the image in this example.

      In the html file I have the ff code:

      <head>

           <meta property="og:image" content="http://www.myURL.com/images/photo.png" />

           //more syntax...

      </head>

      <body>

           //Got code from FB

           <div id="fb-root"></div>

             <script>(function(d, s, id) {

                   var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];

                   if (d.getElementById(id)) return;

                   js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;

                   js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.0";

                   fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);

                  }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

             </script>

      </body>

      Publish the file as OAM and drop it in my Muse page.

      Preview the page in the browser, everything works as it should when I clicked the Share button, page pop-up and display the correct page dimension and content but NOT the content I specified.

      I even put the <meta property="og:..."> snippet in the Muse page but to no avail.

      What am I doing wrong?
