Steven L. Gotz Jun 22, 2014 8:11 PM (in response to Harsten)2394, iLink and Firewire are all the same.
If you set it up right, then yes, you should be able to output your timeline to the camera. At least, I can export out the timeline to my HDV camera.

In the Project Settings.
If you have trouble exporting to tape you might want to revert to 6.0.
Download the trialversion which is 6.0 from here:
Download Adobe CS6 Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant or Manager) | ProDesignTools

Harsten Jun 23, 2014 4:04 AM (in response to Ann Bens)Hi,
thx for reply!
Excuse me one second, why not telling me the whole path to the change of MPE,
I dont even know what MPE stands for I just read about it!!!!!
I am swedish and I am 78-years old, can all you people here on Adobe forum
respect that?
So, please!
If anyone answer a simply question make sure you tell the whole story...
and for last I really know the answer is in the Project Settings, but show me
where, the path to change it...

6. Re: i.link out from computer in to DV-cam?
Steven L. Gotz Jun 23, 2014 8:09 AM (in response to Harsten)MPE = Mercury Playback Engine
Turn it off in the Project Settings by selecting "Software Only". Make sure your Capture settings are set to HDV, not DV.
We can only respect your age and experience, plus any language issues if you tell us about them. All you asked was was it possible. Yes, it is possible. If you required additional instructions, all you need do is ask. Do not get upset at people who assist you. We do not work for Adobe. We are Premiere Pro users, just like you are. We just try to help each other.
